HubSpot Breeze Copilot review (2026): Breeze Assistant from the docs
HubSpot launched Copilot as part of Breeze in 2024. HubSpot's current pages describe a conversational assistant called Breeze Assistant. Here is what those pages say, with links.

The 2024 launch
- HubSpot's Fall 2024 Spotlight announcement introduced Breeze with 'Copilot, HubSpot's new AI companion to boost productivity and make work easier'. [1]
Copilot and Breeze Assistant
- HubSpot's current help centre and product page describe Breeze Assistant as HubSpot's conversational AI assistant. [2] [3]
- The HubSpot pages we read do not themselves state that Copilot was renamed. A third-party HubSpot guide by Vantage Point says HubSpot renamed Breeze Copilot to Breeze Assistant at INBOUND 2025. [4]
What the documentation says it does
- Breeze Assistant is listed as available with all products and plans. The listed requirement is that 'Give users access to Breeze Assistant' is turned on in AI settings, and responses and actions depend on the user's permissions. [2]
- HubSpot says it draws on three kinds of context: account-level business context (such as company profile, ideal customer profiles and personas), task-level context (such as the CRM record you ask about or files you add) and personal and project context stored as memories. [2]
- Documented ways to interact are prompts, saved prompts (which can be automated on a schedule), projects and voice. [2]
- HubSpot says responses can include plain text, confirmation cards before CRM changes run, follow-up questions, saved 'artifacts' such as emails or reports, and source citations for research prompts. [2]
Data handling claims
- HubSpot's product page states that third-party AI providers are contractually prohibited from training their models on customer data, and that HubSpot publishes model cards for its AI features. [3]
